This J. Hagger publication is not dated, but presumed early edition is full brown leather with raised bands; the title is in gilt on a red band. There are full color illustrations by Horace Castelli. The second page reads: Bunyan's Allegorical Works. or The Pilgrim's Progress, and the Holy War; together with His Grace Abounding, divine Emblems, and Other Poems; edited with notes, original and selected, and a life of Buntan. The book is tight with foxing that does not interfere with the printed page or illustration. There are marbelized paper on both front and back inside cocer. The brown leather is a bit scuffed about the edges and the extremities are lightly bumped. Considering its age, it is good. Photos available upon request. Language: eng.
