About the Author
Karen Le Luron, jeune auteur mauricienne, mariée et maman comblée d’un petit garçon maintenant âgé de 2 ans et demi. Dire que je rêvais de pouvoir un jour lui lire mes contes illustrés !
J’ai toujours été passionnée par la lecture et l’écriture et j’ai un point faible pour la littérature de l’imaginaire, mon enfance ayant été bercée de contes magiques.
J’ai poursuivi mes études tertiaires en Australie après l’obtention de mon bac littéraire. De retour à Maurice, j’ai travaillé au sein d’un groupe hôtelier mauricien en tant que « Chargée de communication » et j’étais responsable de la rédaction des supports de communication en anglais et français.
Peu après la naissance de mon fils, j’ai décidé de me mettre à mon compte à temps partiel afin de pouvoir consacrer plus de temps à ma famille.
J’ai aussi trouvé du temps pour me mettre à écrire. Toutes mes histoires sont inspirées de faits réels ! Tout comme Pierre, il m’arrive parfois de perdre mes mots et tout comme lui, j’aime beaucoup les mots d’enfants. Ce sont les plus mignons !
2) Quel est le thème central de ce livre ?
Comme son nom l’indique, ce livre tourne autour et joue avec les mots. Attention, ce livre ne parle pas des mots tels que les adultes les conçoivent mais plutôt de l’idée que pourraient s’en faire les enfants.
L’histoire est celle d’un petit garçon nommé Pierre qui a perdu ses mots à la suite d’une bêtise et qui s’en va les chercher au pays des mots, Motus. Il fera bien des rencontres avant de trouver les mots justes ! Il croisera les gros mots, les mots doux, les mots d’enfants, les mots magiques et bien d’autres encore ! Mais chut, plus un mot ! A vous maintenant de découvrir cette histoire qui j’espère vous séduira !
3) Si vous deviez mettre en avant une phrase de ce livre, laquelle choisiriez-vous ?
« Les mots magiques avaient un grand pouvoir sur les grandes personnes, Pierre le savait bien. » J’aime bien cette phrase car les mots magiques sont souvent des mots très simples, pourtant ils peuvent changer beaucoup de choses et n’ont que des effets positifs ! Ce sont des sésames qui ouvrent bien des portes ! Et le plus beau, c’est qu’il ne faut même pas être magicien pour dire des mots magiques : ce sont des mots qui viennent du cœur !
4) Si le livre était une musique, quelle serait-elle ?
Ce serait une comptine plutôt rigolote avec plusieurs couplets qui rimeraient et qui décriraient chaque type de mots. Ne pas oublier le refrain très enjoué !
5) Qu’aimeriez-vous partager avec vos lecteurs en priorité ?
J’aimerais partager avec mes lecteurs, et les plus jeunes en particulier, mon univers influencé par les récits de fées, de princesses et de quêtes mystérieuses. J’aimerais aussi qu’ils apprennent des choses en lisant mes livres. A la lecture de « Pierre au pays des mots », j’aimerais qu’ils comprennent quelque part la portée des mots. Enfin, j’espère pouvoir faire sourire les parents qui liront cette

Right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer you can withdraw from the contract in accordance with the following. Consumer means any natural person who is acting for purposes which are outside his trade, business, craft or profession.

Statutory right to withdraw
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the last good or the last lot or piece.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, electronically fill in and submit a clear statement on our website, under "My Purchases" in "My Account". We will communicate to you an acknowledgement of receipt of such a withdrawal on a durable medium (e.g. by e-mail) without delay.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).
We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
Exceptions to the right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- The delivery of newspapers, journals or magazines with the exception of subscription contracts; and
- The supply of digital content which is not supplied on a tangible medium (e.g. on a CD or DVD) if you accepted when you placed your order that we could start to deliver it, and that you could not withdraw once delivery had started.
