Blue marbled boards rubbed on lower edges and lower front corners; discoloured vellum spine lettered in gilt. Pale brown jacket in removable sleeve, soiled, rubbed and split on four front corners, wear to hinges of internal flaps with significant loss to darkened spine. Internally bookplate on front pastedown and gift inscription on ffep accompanied by a few brown flecks; browning to half title and last blank only. No other faults. Number 229 of 750 copies.
