About the Author: FRED ROST, author, photographer and artist, has a special interest in the photography of small objects. RON OLDFIELD is well known as a microscopist and photographer, and has won several awards in the prestigious Polaroid international photomicrographic competitions. Both authors have been involved in microscopy and photography for many years, and have published other books on microscopy. Both are past Presidents of the Microscopical Society of Australia, and Fellows of the Royal Microscopical Society.
