About this Item
9 x 31 cm panorama photo, partially coloured. Small tear to bottom edge, light wear elsewhere. A bit of a curve, needs flattening. Michipicoten Harbour began as a facility to ship ores from the nearby Helen Iron Mine. Following the closure of the Helen Mine in 1918, the harbour remained in use to ship coal and lumber.
