Spiral bound "Kromacolor" photo album. Measuring 6" x 4". Contains 36 color photographs neatly laid into plastic sleeves. In fine condition. A collection of color snapshots taken at the 1991 Unity Day celebration held along the Parkway in front of the Philadelphia Museum of Art. The album features many lively images, mostly of African-American stage and street performers of music, dance, and martial arts, together with images of Philadelphians playing softball and participating in other activities during the day's celebration. Billed as "Unity Weekend: The Dream Lives On," the annual event was established to promote unity among families, and peace and multiculturalism among people of all walks of life.
