Item description from seller

Oblong quarto. 7.25" x 11.25". Full blue leather-grained cloth, internally string tied, with thin felt University of Michigan patch on front cover. Contains 198 black and white gelatin silver snapshot photos inserted into corner mounts, final six pages blank, with a few more photos laid in. Images measure from 1.25" x 1.5" to 2.25" x 4.25". Approximately first half of the album is captioned. Album very near fine with rubbing at the corners; internally fine. A few photos lacking and some faded. A warm and pleasant album compiled by a member of Delta Zeta sorority in her last two years at the University of Michigan. There are numerous shots of the campus including a view of the Carillon Tower as well as an impromptu football game. The women are shown in a fair number of internal housing shots where they can be seen preparing for finals as well as chumming around with banners and beer bottles in the background. There are a number of portraits of the women as well. There are two series of images depicting football games, one of which focuses on the marching band. Others show parties, parades for homecoming and the Rose Bowl victory, picnics, graduation day and more. A hearty slice of Wolverine life in the early post-war years.
