Hardcover. Condition: Very Good+. Reprint Edition. Complete file of the magazine/newletter THE PHOENIX published originally starting in 1942, these particular bound reprints being issued during the 1960s or so. (does NOT include the follow-up magazine, NEW PHOENIX edited by Don Tanner) Amazing condition. All close to like new. Not issued in printed dust jackets but three volumes include unprinted tissue or paper guards (with some chipping) Six (6) hardcovers.All original TANNEN eds (none are the later Robbins reprints) and are in matching maroon boards with gilt lettering except that the first volume is an early reprint without the Tannen logo at base of spine. An iconic 20th century magic periodical which in its day was the successor to Annemann's famous JINX magazine, and an excellent publication in its own right. 300 issues are reprinted in these six volumes.
