Paperback. This ambitious work develops a comprehensive philosophy based on the world view of modern science and technology, illustrating how they can address questions that are as old as man himself- why we're here, what our purpose is in life, and what gives meaning to our time here on earth. The book makes complex and weighty topics readable, understandable, and exciting to consider. The scope of book is vast, from logic, mathematics and fundamental physics to evolutionary biology and neuroscience. It treats philosophic issues such as the free will problem, the problem of consciousness and the foundations of ethics from a pragmatic, scientific perspective. The vision presented is hopeful and exciting, a future of unbounded possibility and potential. Dr. George Sowers is a physicist, engineer and executive in the Aerospace industry.
