A summons to stand in harmony with God and to represent Him on Earth, it is a call that strikes a deep chord inside the spirit. Because it is closely related to the struggle against darkness and the quest of light, this call should not be taken lightly. In its purest form, greatness is an invitation to join God in chasing out the powers of evil that aim to subdue our lives, our communities, and even the church.God's plan for humanity has always been to work alongside Him to defeat the dark. Not even angels were chosen by God to collaborate with him; only man was meant to vanquish the forces of evil. But before we can accomplish that, we need to comprehend what it means to welcome the light. When God calls someone to greatness, He is calling them to a life that rejects the darkness of sin and destruction and is lit by His presence. if someone rejects this summons, they miss their chance to walk in triumph and instead fall prey to evil.Darkness is a power that causes grief, suffering, and spiritual blindness; it is more than just the absence of light. It becomes harder for us to live out the entirety of God's plan for our life as darkness consumes our mental and emotional states the more it penetrates our hearts and minds. As we are reminded in Philippians 2:10, 'Every knee will bow to Jesus, even in hell.' This is a clear warning that darkness will finally triumph over those who have previously embraced and glorified it.Mankind's incapacity to keep themselves apart from darkness is one of its biggest problems. The call to greatness necessitates a constant rejection of darkness and an embracing of God's light. It is not enough to just be aware of the evil surrounding us; we also need to proactively take steps to rid it from our lives, our families, our workplaces, and every project we work on behalf of God's kingdom. God's light acts as a weapon against the spirit of error and any other bad force that tries to infiltrate our life.Adam's life serves as a potent warning about what happens if you ignore this call. The introduction of sin and darkness into the world was caused by Adam's failure to take ownership of his actions and humble himself before God. As a mother of sons, Eve saw directly how Cain's embrace of darkness resulted in Abel's awful death. This story illustrates the constant conflict that all people must face between light and dark.Calls to greatness also involve calls to responsibility. It is a summons to own up to the condition of our souls and join God in chasing out the powers of evil that want to taint His work in our lives. People who reject this accountability will continue to be manipulated by Satan and will always look for someone or anything to hold accountable for their bad luck. But being great necessitates a mental adjustment. It requires us to reject the need to live as victims and accept the power God has given us to drive out evil.
