Bársony and Daróczi belong to the original organizers of the Romany civil rights movement in Hungary. Bársony is the creator of the network of Roma institutions in Budapest; Daróczi has produced a variety of events to encourage the acceptance of the Roma and raise awareness of Roma history. The text includes transcriptions of interviews with survivors, and a series of texts from the debate over the interpretation of the Pharrajimos that focus on the recognition of the Roma Holocaust.
