Rare original 1902 copy of Personal Military and Civil History with Historic Reference. The book is overall in good condition with some signs of wear and age. The covers only have some minor wear, and the binding is good and sound. Only a couple of the designated pages are filled in with manuscript writing, the first is the front fep (which also serves as the title page) which was filled in & gifted by Mrs. W. Ackert to John Ackert in 1910. The other page with handwritten content is the 1902 Certificate of Membership filled in for the veteran Willliam E. Ackert. There is a tear a few inches in length to the rear printed free endpaper as well as a tear in the same area to the last leaf. Besides that, the pages are lightly toned from age but are generally clean, though there may be the occasional page with some other minor imperfection such as a minor stain, other tiny chip or tear, creased page corner, etc. The book measures approximately 8 3/4 inches by 6 3/4 inches and is 232 pages long.
