Translated from the Spanish by Harriet de Onis. Biographical study of Mariano Tellez-Giron y Beaufort, the extravagant Twelfth Duke of Osuna (1814-1882). Soldier, diplomat, member of parliament, and the Spanish ambassador to the Russian Empire between 1856 and 1868.
