Hardcover. My Perfect Place in Ireland brings together thirty well-known names from different walks of life, including Marian Keyes, Chris de Burgh, Anne Enright, Niall Breslin and Joanne O'Riordan, who have each chosen a place in Ireland that means the most to them. It could be their place because of a particular emotional connection, or a place where something significant in their lives happened or it may be their perfect place simply because of the beauty of the location. In each case, they tell their very personal story of what their perfect place means to them.Accompanied by stunning photography and Roisin Ingle's brilliant words, My Perfect Place in Ireland is a unique and beautiful collection of stories and images of Ireland which will captivate the reader. And after the lockdown years when life has been particularly difficult for young people and many others who have struggled with their mental health, My Perfect Place in Ireland will also be supporting the mental health charity A Lust for Life, founded by Niall 'Bressie' Breslin. Niall will be appearing in the book talking about his own perfect place and how it helped him cope with mental health issues at a difficult time in his life. In this beautiful collection of photographs and words, thirty well-known people choose their perfect place in Ireland and explain the deep personal connection it has for them, and why their chosen place roots them so firmly to home.
