nach der Bestellung gedruckt Neuware - Printed after ordering - Drawing has been Timothy Powell's lifelong passion, a medium through which he expresses both artistry and purpose. With this collection, Powell seeks to honor and illuminate both celebrated icons and lesser-known heroes of African descent whose legacies have shaped history. His meticulous pencil portraits serve as a powerful visual archive, offering educators, historians, parents, researchers, and students-ranging from elementary classrooms to college lecture halls-a compelling resource that bridges art and cultural heritage. The book stands as a testament to Powell's dedication to the purity, precision, and emotional depth achievable through pencil drawing. Each portrait is rendered with care, capturing not just physical likenesses but the essence and spirit of individuals who have made profound contributions to society. More than a compilation of artwork, this project is a tribute to those who have been historically overlooked, and a message of encouragement to anyone who feels their moment to make an impact has passed. Through these portraits, Powell extends a heartfelt invitation to all dreamers, creators, and change-makers: pursue your passion boldly, and remember-it's never too late to leave your mark on the world. Let this book spark inspiration and affirm the value of every voice, every story, and every stroke of the pencil.…
