Neuware - Discover the Meaning Behind the Pearl of Great Price The Pearl of Great Price contains some of the most remarkable teachings in Restoration scripture. Its pages reveal the Creation, the fall of Adam and Eve, the ministry of Enoch, the visions of Moses and Abraham, the origins of the Abrahamic covenant, and Joseph Smith's account of the First Vision and the coming forth of the Restoration. Yet many passages contain doctrines, symbols, historical details, and prophetic teachings that can be difficult to fully understand without additional explanation. The Pearl of Great Price Explained is a clear and accessible commentary designed to help readers better understand this important book of scripture. Moving through the text chapter by chapter, this commentary explains key doctrines, historical background, prophetic themes, spiritual principles, covenants, warnings, promises, and connections to the larger message of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. Readers will gain deeper insight into the premortal existence, the Creation, the Fall, the plan of salvation, Satan's rebellion, Adam and Eve, Enoch and Zion, Noah and the Flood, Abraham and his covenant, the priesthood, the gathering of Israel, the First Vision, Joseph Smith's prophetic calling, the Second Coming, and many other important teachings. Written in clear, straightforward language, this book is intended for both personal study and family scripture study. It can also serve as a helpful companion for Sunday School, seminary, institute, and anyone seeking a deeper understanding of Restoration scripture. Rather than simply telling readers what the text says, The Pearl of Great Price Explained helps reveal why these teachings matter, how they fit together, and what they teach about God's plan for his children.Whether you are reading the Pearl of Great Price for the first time or have studied it for many years, this commentary will help you approach its pages with greater understanding, stronger context, and a deeper appreciation for the powerful truths contained within them.…
