Moderate toning, a few tiny spots, horizontal fold line through center, a few fold lines and creases to corners. $350. * This poem, by "Fearnought," describes a pleasant Christmas day in a Church-run poorhouse. The paupers are grateful, pious and humble and the rate-payers (taxpayers) who support them are warmed by the sight: "Rate-payers view them with much delight, they say it is a most beautiful sight, To see the poor, humble and meek, Christ and his kingdom do seek."
