Neuware - A Path Through Shadow Josh has always wanted to study in Europe, but every time he applies for a visa, he gets rejected, which discourages him. Josh meets a girl when he goes back to his high school's familiar hallways, and she quickly becomes a new hope for him. However, when she unintentionally got pregnant, his aspirations are once more dashed. Josh's world takes a new turn when he learns that a foreign lady is visiting his hometown, just as despair is about to strike. Josh was captivated by her at first, but a fight soon sourdough his feelings, and he started to resent all foreigners. Josh's sense of loss and betrayal grows when his older brother, who recently returned home, also shows interest in the foreign visitor. The lady got pregnant by chance, and Josh steps in to take responsibility, despite his brother's denial. The news breaks his parents' hearts, and just as he starts to deal with their disappointment, Josh's past shows up: he is arrested for the tragic suicide of his high school girlfriend. The foreign lady comes to his aid as his world spirals out of control, securing his release and rekindling the possibility of his European dreams.
