An account of the 1987 court case of Hungarian-born Imre Finta who was the first person prosecuted under Canada's war crimes legislation for his Nazi collaboration during WWII. Finta was defended by right wing lawyer Doug Christie who includes the introduction. Finta was ultimately found not guilty, a decision that survived multiple appeals throughout the 1990s. Stapled wrappers, iii, 36, [2] p., illustrated with photographs of Finta and Christie. A fine copy.
