A Journey of Healing and Awakening
The path to higher consciousness can present many challenges and lessons in our lives. Are we attracting the situations or are we meant to experience them to help others? Grief, depression, toxic relationships, old belief systems and religious dogmas can all cause us to spiral down a funnel of despair. Regardless of the challenge, we can make the choice to rise up. By going inward to find our light, to walk our spiritual journey we can, like the phoenix rising out of the ashes, gain the courage to embrace new insights, greater faith and rise up. Each author in The Path of Awakening – A Healing Journey has presented a story of hope to guide you to your creative essence, your soul purpose and to heal your life."A Mother's Worst Nightmare - I believe all parents think they could not survive the loss of a child, but the inspiration from your personal story shows how to look for the lesson and good of experiencing a horrible situation." - Gloria K. McKinley
"In As Good As Ever, Jean Dansak shares a heartfelt and compassionate story about caring for her mother with Alzheimer’s disease. Her sensitivity, compassion and love is evident throughout. It is a touching, real-life story of the heartache that the disease can cause. It is also a story of resilience. Jean shares some of the tools she used to help her through this hard time and I believe they would be a great support to others struggling through this challenging situation." -Jeanie H.
"An Empath's Awakening is a deep-rooted and resounding study that examines the so often un-shared awkwardness of childhood and the internal emotional battlefields that we experience as we grow into adulthood. A beautiful description of an amazing journey and final discovery of the healing power found within." - Joyce Ely
"The story Ask and It Is Given touched me so deeply! I could feel the aliveness in the cells of my own body as I read. What a BEAUTIFUL reminder for us all to find the beauty and gratitude in all of life, to be open to possibilities and to allow ourselves the freedom to consciously choose what’s for our highest and best good, even if that means separating ourselves from religious programming of shame and guilt." -Andrea Arledge, Spiritual Life Coach
"Childhood Gifts thoughtfully unwraps an inquisitive journey towards self-acceptance facilitated by releasing unsupportive family patterns and beliefs. I enjoyed Ms. Hahnlen's humorous and compassionate narrative that candidly describes how she untangled traditional expectations and found ties to her innate gifts and strengths." - S.L.
"When God Shows Up - It is true that if we choose not to make changes in our life, we don’t grow. Thank you for sharing this journey of your pain and love. I can truly relate to it! I do think sometimes we don’t know when God is talking to us and we need to pay attention! Thank you for helping me go deeper! Very helpful and inspiring book." - Lisa Macri McDevitt
"Stan's journey in Why Not Me? is amazing, inspiring, and encouraging for all people. It shows how a boy that was dealt a bad hand at a very young age survived, overcame abuse and adversity, and is now a successful man. He helps us understand the value of believing in a higher power, giving to others and the impact it can make. This book will help many to look past the person you see and look for the person within. You will never know the difference you can make in a person's life unless you make the effort." - Kim W.
