About the Author
I am a 30 year-old single father of three. I currently reside in Seattle, WA, but I am originally from Little Rock, AR. My passion for writing started when I was in grade school. As a young boy I was diagnosed with the learning disability dyslexia. I had some challenges reading so I never drew attention to myself for fear of being ridiculed and teased by the other children. Therefore as a relatively quiet boy I learned to listen more than I talked. By watching others, I developed a habit of mimicking people. I consider myself a true student of human nature and I have always had a knack for storytelling. In my quest to overcome my disability it gave me the power to write my stories with strong dialog and character development. I am an author of fiction and my first story is based in the city of Little Rock, AR where I grew up in the African-American community. "The Path After the Storm" the story deals with a variety of issues to include redemption, spirituality, homosexuality, forgiveness, family, and drug abuse just to name a few.
