About the Author: A participant in the Lewis Fellows program at Wesley Theological Seminary, Emanuel Cleaver III received his Doctor of Ministry degree at Saint Paul School of Theology. He is the author of articles and poems in Unity Magazine and Circuit Rider Magazine and has been guest lecturer at the Northwestern Missouri Conference of the African Methodist Episcopal Church, for the South Central Jurisdictional Black Methodist for Church Renewal Conference, and for South Central Jurisdictional Bishop's Week. Emanuel lives in Kansas City, Missouri.
