Item description from seller

Numbered limited edition, no. 1075 of 1500 copies. 369 pp. Grey cloth in pictorial jacket. In grey cloth slipcase. Colour illustrated. Minor creasing to top edge of jacket, top and bottom edges of slipcase very slightly rubbed. Binding sound and clean internally. This catalogue focuses on the new additions of the Weldon Collection, which has expanded to over 700 pieces since 1990. Excavations in the Potteries and elsewhere in Bitain continue to assist in constructing a truer account of the wares made by the 17th and 18th c potters, with a clearer picture being built up regrading the products of those previously considered as 'minor' ceramicists. Intended as a supplement and augmentation of the research and analysis by Leslie B. Grigsby in preparation of the first catalogue of English pottery in the Henry H. Weldon Collection, published in 1990. This is a heavy item and may require additional postage if being shipped outside of Europe. 0962258865 4to. Illustrated.
