Print on Demand. This book is a study of relatively unexplored Lake Pasquaney, a beautiful expanse in the New Hampshire mountains. Despite its scenic beauty and relative proximity to larger centers of population, Pasquaney has somehow failed to attract the notice of writers and the leisure class, who have instead flocked to more popular vacation destinations. As a result, few know of Pasquaney's cool, sparkling waters, secluded coves, and tree-lined shores. Exploring the lake and the surrounding region, the author provides a guide to the natural wonders of the region, describing the area's geology, flora, fauna, and human history. The book will introduce a wider audience to the lake's hidden charms and will appeal to nature lovers and vacationers in search of a more tranquil destination, offering a unique escape for those who enjoy the outdoors and prefer to avoid the crowds. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book.…

The author has taken the liberty to depart from the old nomenclature in several instances. He has used, throughout, Pasquaney, for the more orthodox New found. He is, of course, aware that such a course is perilous, and yet, no one can be offended, and few be misled. Cliff Isle has been used instead of the disgust ing Hog Island, and the long tongue of land extend ing from Crescent Beach' toward Belle Isle has been christened Breezy Point.
