Is it more fun to do flips off the monkey bars, or listen to all the birds singing? To swim laps in the wading pool, or smell all the flowers? Mr. and Mrs. Green can't seem to agree on which activity is the most exciting, but that doesn't stop them from having a great day at the park When they hear the bells of the ice cream truck, though, they both agree that racing to dessert is the right idea. Simple sentence structure, bright illustrations, and silly, unexpected twists, make this installment in the Mr. and Mrs. Green early reader series by acclaimed picture-book creator Keith Baker perfect for beginning readers.
