Contemporary calf, blind rules to boards, raised bands and gilt fillets to spine, edges rouged. Light rubbing and a few shallow nicks and scratches to boards, which are lightly varnished, moderate rubbing to extremities, front joint just starting at head, chipping to spine ends, corners bumped and lightly worn, front pastedown loosening, front hinge cracked. Light toning, light foxing and soiling in a few places, creasing to folding table, which has a large clean tear to its left edge affecting one word of text without loss to legibility. $500. * Second edition; third edition. Both popular and well-received works, The Parish Officer's Complete Guide reached 7 editions by 1810 and Every Landlord or Tenant His Own Lawyer reached eleven editions by 1821.
