A large King James Holy Bible with gilt brown leather hard cover, seven raised bands on spine cover, gilt and blind tooled leather covers illustrate title/scenes/flora/various other decorative devices, text includes 2000 color and black/white illustrations, gilt leaf edges. Dimensions: 12.75 H x 11 D x 5.25 W inches. Condition: Good; sunned spine, rubbed at extremities and high points, .75 inch break at front cover heel hinge area (gutter reinforced at interior hinge), ink scribble marks on front free end paper, presentation page ink inscribed, partial loss at rear of first photo insert page (50% remainder), strong square spine, light age-toned pages. A nice copy.
