Don’t Be Like Him
A Short Story about Pride, Choices, and the Fall That Echoes Through Eternity
Pride was the first downfall. The most dangerous sin. The sin that turned an angel into an enemy.
Don’t Be Like Him takes readers to the moment pride was born in Heaven ,and how its shadow still repeats itself in human hearts today. This isn’t a retelling. This is a warning wrapped in story. A glimpse into the whisper that ruined a kingdom and still ruins lives.
Through vivid scenes of Lucifer’s rise and fall, this short story reveals:
• how pride blinds even the brightest
• how “Why not me?” becomes the most destructive question
• how Heaven mourned, how Hell awoke, and how humanity still echoes that same choice
• how easily we forget we are created, not the Creator
As Lucifer loses Heaven, the reader watches a mirror being built, one meant not for angels, but for us.
Raw, reflective, and unforgettable, Don’t Be Like Him challenges every reader to confront the quiet places where pride hides, and God’s grace waits.
Another bold offering from Crying Pen Productions —
where every page speaks, and every story points to truth.
