Two plates. engraved views.63x 54 cms each one. Black and white. Fine impression and wide margins.These two views comes from the "town Book" of Italy printed by Blaeu and laterly by Mortier using the same plates.One of the volumes was dedicated to Rome depicting the most important monuments.The Pantheon was designed and printed in all the books showing Roman antiquities from medieval times.The building from Augustean times and restored during the Antonine�s period (s II d.c) is the best example in existence of a roman building preserving its most important elements up to this time.
