To be held, you must first let go.

Living a life wholly surrendered leads to walking in joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. But how do we do that when we face deep wounds? How do we keep our palms open, even if that means our hands could meet nails?

In this encouraging book, you will walk through what it means to lay down the exhausting pursuits of self-protection and self-preservation. Step out of the toxic traps of performance and people-pleasing, and step into the unshakeable covering of Christ.

Inside, you will discover:

• How to move from fighting for belonging to taking your seat at the Father's table.
• What forgiveness truly means: a release of the debt, not a self-erasure of the pain, and why reconciliation and forgiveness are two different things.
• The importance of boundaries, and why setting them is not a grudge, but an act of spiritual health.
• The truth behind loneliness and why feeling that way doesn't make you selfish.
• The difference between hope in Christ versus false hope built on self-reliance.
• How to view the wilderness as freedom rather than punishment.
• How to live with an open heart even in the face of pain.

Living a life with Palms Wide Open is not a position of a doormat; It is the position of ultimate security.
