Prof. Dr. Gian D. Borasio ist Inhaber des Lehrstuhls fur Palliativmedizin an der Universitat Lausanne und Leiter des Dienstes Palliativpflege am Universitatsspital Lausanne. Prof. Wendy Johnston lehrt Neurologie an der University of Alberta (Kanada). Sie leitet deren ALS-Klinik und deren interdisziplinares Forschungsprogramm.
