"The varied climatic conditions of the whole of Palestine which stretches in its whole length along the shores of the Mediterranean Sea, with its bathing beaches, its mountains and valleys, the beauty of the Carmel, the mountains of Saffad and Cnaan, Hebron etc., the hot springs of Tiberias, the other different springs and streams, the grapes with healing capacities as also the oranges and other fruits existing all the year round, the variation of climates at comparatively small distances, coupled with the exquisite views of nature most pleasing to the eye - all this goes to show together with the results of the investigations and experiments made that Palestine is naturally adapted as a Universal health resort and could rank amongst the most eminent centers of health and rest."
