Palabras con t, d, n, f is a structured decodable book from the Hola Books Green Series, designed to support early reading development in Spanish. This engaging skills-based book introduces and reinforces the letter-sound relationships for the consonants t, d, n, and f, alongside all five vowels (a, e, i, o, u). Carefully scaffolded activities guide students from individual sounds and syllables to complete decodable words and phrases, helping them develop accuracy, confidence, and fluency.
The book is divided into four focused sections that build decoding mastery one sound at a time. Students begin by reviewing letter names and sounds, then move through progressively challenging syllable combinations. The activities include tapping and reading syllables, blending word parts, and reading short decodable words like dado, nido, fina, dona, and tele. Each page encourages students to segment, blend, and reread words-building the foundational skills essential for fluent reading in Spanish.
The book also includes a family support page, offering simple guidance for adults to support children's reading at home. Instructions emphasize blending practice, repeated reading, and celebrating effort and progress. This supports a strong home-school connection and encourages shared reading routines.
