From the Publisher
Paddle America is a complete guide to paddling by canoe, kayak, sea kayak, raft and dory. With over 870 descriptive listings, this is the unique reference book for everyone seeking fun and adventure on the nation's great rivers, lakes, and coastal waters.
"The bible for us and many in the paddlesports world. It's the number one resource book we use." - Jim Mack, Executive Director, U.S. Canoe Association.
"It's an invaluable resource. I use it weekly and recommend it to everyone." - Phyllis Horowitz, Executive Director, American Whitewater Affiliation.
"Paddle America fills a long-standing gap in U.S. canoeing literature. With just the right amount of well-written, no-nonsense text, its listings are of value to both renters and boat owners." - Jeffrey Yeager, Executive Director, American Canoe Association.
"Paddle America belongs on the front seat of every paddler's vehicle, right on top of the road atlas." - Jim Thaxton, Executive Director, Professional Paddlesports Association.
"Finally a complete paddler's guide to packaged adventure. Don't leave home without it." - David Harrison, Publisher, Canoe & Kayak Magazine.
"This is easily the most thorough and comprehensive guide to outfitters, liveries, and rental organizations that I've seen." - Neil Wiesner-Hanks, Executive Director, North American Paddle Sports Association.
Part of the proceeds of this book go to American Rivers for river conservation.
