Cartella editoriale rigida (36 x 51 cm circa) che raccoglie in apposita tasca 15 grandi fogli ripiegati con riproduzioni di splendidi motivi per il ricamo ''a punto Assisi''; tra questi citiamo i motivi ''Drago Rampante'', ''Le rose di San Francesco'', ''Cancellata fiesolana'', ''Nodo d'amore'', ''San Francesco e gli uccellini'', ''Draghi doppi'', ''Ferrata Arezzo'', ''Tovaglietta Spoleto''. Timbro di omaggio e di ex libris sulla tasca interna, peraltro ottimo esemplare di un album decisamente raro -- (dal testo introduttivo) 1981-1982 ANNO FRANCESCANO: Nell'VIII Centenario della nascita del più Santo tra gli umili, del più umile tra i Santi, [. . .] il Consiglio di Amministrazione del ''Laboratorio di S. Francesco'' ha ritenuto opportuno pubblicare e diffondere i migliori ricami a punto ASSISI di sua proprietà, in una particolare veste tipografica e di facile lettura. Crediamo basti sfogliare le prime pagine della presente e singolare opera per essere colpiti dalla bellezza degli antichi motivi del punto Assisi, o punto croce. Abbiamo voluto portare a conoscenza degli estimatori del ricamo assisano un tesoro che per anni è rimasto nascosto, non per voluta trascuratezza, e ne facciamo onorevole ammenda. Tra le vecchie mura dell'edificio, in particolare nell'antica e suggestiva Chiesa di ''S. GIACOMO DE MURO-RUPTO'', che risale al 1088, riecheggia una lenta e dolce melopea, che parla della vita serena, laboriosa delle Monache Benedettine, che hanno qui vissuto in stretta clausura papale, dedicandosi alle più umili faccende. Dopo la Rivoluzione Francese, che le obbligò a ritornare alla vita laicale, quando le Figlie di S. Benedetto rientrarono nel loro Monastero, il Laboratorio riprese in pieno la sua attività e le migliori Famiglie di Assisi vollero affidare le loro figliole alla cura delle Suore, nell'Educandato femminile claustrale dei Santi Giacomo e Donato, e si formarono buone, brave e veramente esemplari madri di famiglie cristiane. [. . .] Con umiltà e modestia, il presente lavoro vuole essere un richiamo al nostro mirabile passato, all'insegna del grande motto ''Ora et labora''. La leggenda francescana ha sempre fornito grandi motivi di ispirazione: dai silenziosi laboratori delle Clarisse, dai pannelli e dalle tovaglie per il culto divino, dai mirabili rosoni delle Chiese assisane, dagli stessi affreschi di Giotto e di Simone Martini, dai meravigliosi fiori del nostro Subasio, da tutti questi motivi sono nati i nostri disegni, su ispirazione e cura di una cara Benefattrice del Laboratorio, Sig.ra Buzzi, che volle lasciare al Laboratorio i disegni che ora recano le tracce del tempo. Riportati alla luce, ora essi vogliono testimoniare quel meraviglioso patrimonio d'arte che la città di Assisi ha custodito gelosamente, forte delle sue memorie sante, della sua tradizione, ricca nella sua povertà. Il lavoro d'arte, il nostro ricamo a punto croce, anzi a PUNTO ASSISI, oggi ritorna ancora più vivo, attuale e fiorisce tra le mani esperte di tante donne che amano la preziosità di certe linee e la tradizione di alcuni soggetti. Crediamo perciò di fare cosa grata al numeroso pubblico di esperte cultrici dell'arte preziosa del ricamo, nel dare alla stampa queste vecchie tavole, rivedute ma non corrette, originali nella loro soave interezza. Right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer you can withdraw from the contract in accordance with the following. Consumer means any natural person who is acting for purposes which are outside his trade, business, craft or profession.
Information regarding the right of withdrawal
Statutory right to withdraw
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the last good or the last lot or piece.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, electronically fill in and submit a clear statement on our website, under "My Purchases" in "My Account". We will communicate to you an acknowledgement of receipt of such a withdrawal on a durable medium (e.g. by e-mail) without delay.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).
We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.
We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract.
We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back, or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.
You shall send back the goods or hand them over to Il Salvalibro, Foligno, Perugia, Italy, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
Exceptions to the right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- The delivery of newspapers, journals or magazines with the exception of subscription contracts; and
- The supply of digital content which is not supplied on a tangible medium (e.g. on a CD or DVD) if you accepted when you placed your order that we could start to deliver it, and that you could not withdraw once delivery had started.
