In 4. Dim. 27,5x19,5 cm. Pp. XXII+(2)+335. Bellissima edizione illustrata del 1844 di queste due opere del patriota, scrittore e poeta italiano Silvio Pellico (1789-1854). La prima è la celebre opera autobiografica "Le mie prigioni".Nell'opera Pellico descrive la sua detenzione in prigione dal 13 ottobre 1820 giorno in cui venne arrestato a Milano per la sua adesione ai Moti Carbonari sino al 17 Settembre 1830 giorno del suo ritorno a casa. All'inizio vita di Pellico scritta da Philipon de la Madelaine. Segue opera "Dei doveri degli uomini". All'interno bellissime incisioni da disegni di Gerard Seguin, D'Aubignym Steinheil e ritratto di Pellico in antiporta. Questa edizione differisce da quella del 1846 per alcuni particolari nelle illustrazioni: a pag. 30 il grembiule della donna è senza righe, a pag. 36 la guardia ha un cappello a bicorno e non a tocco, a pag. 154 Pellico è sdraiato sul letto e non seduto. Bel frontespizio figurato. In buone condizioni e completo di tutte le pagine Copertina in piena tela con titolo e decorazioni in oro al dorso in discrete condizioni generali con lievi usure ai margini e dorso. Rotture alle cerniere. Legatura in buone condizioni con qualche rottura. All'interno le pagine si presentano in buone condizioni con fioriture. Very beautiufl illustrated edition of 1844 of these two works by the italian patriot, writer and poet Silvio Pellico (1789-1854). The first one is the famous autobiographycal work "Le mie prigioni". In the work Pellico describes his imprisonment from the 13th of october when he was put in jail for his adesion to Moti Carbonari until the 17th of september 1830 when he came back home. At the beginning life of Pellico written by Philipon de la Madelaine. Then the work "Dei doveri degli uomini". Inside very beautiful engravings from drawings of Gerard Seguin, D'Aubignym Steinheil and portrait of Pellico in the frontspice. This edition is different from that of 1846 for some particulars in illustrations: in pag. 30 the dress of the woman is without stripes, in pag. 36 the guard has a double horned hat, in pag. 154 Pellico is layed in the bed. VEry beautiful figurated title page. In good conditions and complete of all pages. Full cloth cover with golden title and decorations in the spine in fair general conditions slightly worn in the edges and spine. Cracks in the hidges. Binding in good conditions with some slight crack. Inside pages are in good conditions with foxings.

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the last good or the last lot or piece.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, electronically fill in and submit a clear statement on our website, under "My Purchases" in "My Account". We will communicate to you an acknowledgement of receipt of such a withdrawal on a durable medium (e.g. by e-mail) without delay.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).
We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.
We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract.
We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back, or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.
You shall send back the goods or hand them over to Sephora Libri, Foligno, Perugia, Italy, +39 3492903979, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
