America is not broken by accident it is broken by design. In “If I Was President,” author Edward Fair delivers a fearless, plainspoken blueprint to fix what career politicians have ignored for decades. This is not a campaign slogan. It is not a partisan rant. It is a bold declaration of common-sense solutions for the working people who have been left behind.
From overpriced healthcare and student loan traps to corrupt congressional perks, financial exploitation, housing scams, towing fraud, and predatory credit schemes, this book pulls no punches in exposing a system rigged for the rich and powerful and lays out exactly how to reset it. With each chapter dedicated to a single issue, Fair explains how we can end congressional term abuse, force billion-dollar corporations to pay their share, stop medical debt from destroying families, and ensure that healthcare is a right, not a privilege.
Fair speaks directly to the forgotten voices of America: the delivery drivers, grocery clerks, factory workers, veterans, retirees, single parents, and young adults buried in debt. He writes not as a politician, but as one of them. He understands that poverty is not a personal failure, but often the result of policies made by those too far removed from the realities of working-class life. And he offers policy solutions rooted in fairness, decency, and accountability.
In this unapologetically bold manifesto, you will discover proposals such as:
· Enacting term limits and pension caps for Congress
· Banning congressional stock trading and lobbyist kickbacks
· Creating a universal healthcare system that puts people over profit
· Ending credit card and auto loan interest scams
· Requiring affordable housing in every new development
· Breaking up utility monopolies and corporate tax shelters
· Protecting reproductive and end-of-life rights with national guardrails
· Letting states decide time-change laws without Washington’s interference
· And dozens of other no-nonsense, actionable reforms
Fair does not ask for permission to tell the truth he demands accountability. He calls out lawmakers from both parties, exposes the wealth gap between Congress and their constituents, and insists that serving the public should be about service not luxury, not profit, and not reelection.
“If I Was President” is a voice of the working class, written for those who feel abandoned by both political extremes. It is a book for people who believe that government should work for all not just the wealthy, connected, or elite.
Whether you are a frustrated voter, a concerned citizen, or someone who has simply had enough of being told to “tighten your belt” while billionaires fly private jets on tax breaks, this book is for you. It is a roadmap for a better America one where fairness, transparency, and dignity are more than just promises.
The American Dream is not dead it has been hijacked.
If Edward Fair was President, he would fight to take it back.
And with this book, so can you.
