nach der Bestellung gedruckt Neuware - Printed after ordering - These delightful stories present Cleo the cow, Dusty the prairie dog, and more than a dozen other animals of the ranch and prairie. Told mostly in the first person, these narratives entertain as they educate young readers about the animals' lives and life on the prairie. The loving and endearing qualities of most of these characters will charm and delight readers of all ages. While many of the stories focus on the rewards of ranch life, The Prairie Kingdom of the West does not ignore the dangers, especially in the thrilling and tragic tale of the rattlesnake. Opening this book will begin a journey into an intriguing and unique world of animals and life in the rugged west.
