Condition very good, appears to be rebound, marble endpapers, tight binding, bright pages, textblock is clean.Former owner stamp & inscription on title page. No tears or holes, no markings on interior. Nice fresh text. Gilt title to spine, four raised bands with gilt ruling and devices to spine. Spine rubbed. Closed tear to author area of spine. An early copy of an influential treatise.
