Text evenly tanned, light scattered foxing, short tear in folding table without loss of legibility. Later ownership inscription in pencil on front pastedown and endpaper. Good plus. A promotional guide extolling the virtues of Nova Scotia and her natural resources. Contains mining laws, itineraries, advice for prospective miners, and a wealth of statistics on mining and mineral yield. The final two pages contain a very brief directory of relevant businesses in Halifax (including booksellers and gold brokers), and the folding plan shows a cross section of gold-bearing rocks of the Atlantic Coast and Nova Scotia.
