A group of 4 "FAB" Patchwork Post Cards - The Art Needlework Postcard Series from letterpress printer and lithographer, W.N. Sharpe. The cards were produced 1900 to about 1910 and featured a satin or silk fabric square attached to the front of the paper with a variety of themes or series. It was popular during Edwardian times to remove the patches from the card and create other home crafts such as pin cushions or fancy doilies. Offered here are 4 from the British Royalty series featuring Edward VII as Prince of Wales and King, and Alexandra as Princess of Wales and Queen. Unused cards with divided backs in fine condition. Sold as a group of four with reduced shipping charges calculated for this lightweight package. Other 'patchwork' postcards are available from this bookseller.
