(Subject: Aviation - General) The Boeing aircraft corporation has been at the forefront of innovation and experimentation in the design of airplanes. From the beginning its designers overcame great technical problems to develop such legendary aircraft as the B-17 and B-29 bombers of WWII, the B-47 Stratojet and B-52 Stratofortress strategic bombers, and record breaking civil types including the B.707 and B.747 Jumbo Jet. This book tells the story of Boeing - the men, the prototypes, and the individual planes that made the name famous. Terms of sale
Military History Books was founded many years ago in London and, several iterations later, it's now in the capable and expert hands of Armed Forces Veterans based in the sunny South-West of England. The 7,000+ book inventory will be available on AbeBooks early in 2025 and one of the first tasks will be to append photographs and full descriptions to as many of the listings as possible; a huge task, as we're sure you'll agree.
Operating from a large, temperature and humidity controlled building, we don't just sell books but also Magazines (mainly Aviation & Modelling) and Technical Publications. Obviously, the more we sell, the more we have to replace, so if you find yourself with a surplus quantity of titles of a military nature (and that covers all 3 Services throughout the world (plus 'Space', come to think of it!); get in touch and talk to us.
We look forward to being of service.
