Born in Glens Falls, NY, he attended nearby Fort Ann (NY) Central School where he graduated in 1971 and entered Albany College of Pharmacy. In the bicentennial year he and Sally graduated from pharmacy school and married and have been pharmacists for 34 years. Everett's writing career began in 1990 when the 18th century space traveler Pitus Peston came to life. His journey began on a northern New York farm and has broken the barriers of time and space.
