Publisher: New York, Picture Progress Publishing Corporation, 1916
Publication Date: 1916
Binding: Soft cover
Illustrator: Profusely Illustrated With Photos
Book Condition: Very Good
Very scarce piece of early motion picture paper ephemera. This was a monthly devoted to reporting on the latest motion pictures and highlighting the various "stars" of the era. This issue features several photos and textual content on Mary Pickford, and there is also considerable about Peggy Hyland. Many other stars and starlets pictured. Interesting article by C.B. DeMille about photo plays. Back page ad (and inside back page) ads for Paramount Pictures listing many of their latest films. At this time the movie industry was still located primarily in New York. This issue with a colorful front cover with bright pink background and picture of starlet Vivian Martin as the center piece. Evidence of vertical and horizontal folds but overall this is in nice collector condition without any major tears or chipping to the covers or pages. Contents very clean. Bookseller Inventory # 2574
