O texto é corrido e as numerosas e abundantes notas nos rodapés das páginas estão dispostas em duas colunas, separadas por filete tipográfico. Nas margens exteriores, o texto é ladeado por explicações adicionais. Exemplar com assinatura de posse coeva na folha de rosto: D Miguel Lopes de Sá [?] 6º edição da segunda tradução latina de uma obra essencial para estudar o desenvolvimento da física, a mais completa de todas e com a melhor tradução latina. Caracterizou-se pelo grande valor dado à experimentação. Em 1692 foi adoptada como livro de texto nas Universidades de Cambridge e Oxford. Trabalho publicado pela primeira vez em francês, em 1671, tendo sido depois traduzido para latim em 1674 e para inglês em 1723. Contando desde a 1ª edição em língua francesa esta é a 11ª vez que a obra apareceu em público. Em 1697 Samuel Clarke traduziu a obra para um latim de elevada qualidade, de que dá exemplos no prefácio e foi nas sucessivas edições adicionando notas que não só explicavam o texto como o corrigiam com as ideias baseadas nos trabalhos de Newton. Foi a mais divulgada e influente obra no período de 1671 a 1746, que começou por ser uma exposição da física cartesiana mas com as anotações de Samuel Clarke, e a preocupação deste cientista em actualizar a obra tornou-a gradualmente num dos textos mais importantes para a difusão do newtonianismo. Jaques Rohault (Amiens 1618- Paris 1672) filósofo, físico e matemático, discípulo e continuador de René Descartes, foi considerado o mais original de todos por Leibnitz. Samuel Clarke (1675-1729) formou-se em Oxford em 1694 com uma tese em defesa da filosofia natural de Newton, publicou diversos tratados científicos, escreveu uma tradução da Ilíada e tinha muito interesse pela teologia. Effects of cancellation

We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.
We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel with contract.
We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
