Red marginalia and woodcut initials throughout; table of contents; index. Fore-edge and bottom edge untrimmed. Boards show some soiling and foxing on title labels. Wear to the corners and to spine ends. Foxing to endpapers, some prelims (including frontispiece and title page) and to blank pages after the text. Scattered foxing throughout to the margins; text is not affected. Inserted in this copy is an order form for books printed for the Chiswick Library of Noble Writers. Form has foxing.
