Unpaginated, 24 x 18cm. Semi-yapp Black goatskin with leather liner, all edges red. Full text of the 1885 Revised Version printed dual column alongside the Authorized King James version with footer references. American Committee dissenting readings printed in appendix. Some light rubbing to the leather edges with yapp torn at front fore tail corner, a few torn pages; otherwise a very clean and fresh text in a sound and handsome binding. Not in Hills or Darlow & Moule, though Hills lists a string of Parallel editions printed by American publishers in 1885, leading us to think Nelson was not behind the game in releasing their edition. Nelson held the exclusive license to print the American Standard Version, which would incorporate the American committee's dissenting readings after the 16 year moratorium imposed by the joint English Revision committee.
