For the work in the new P-seminar, we would like to introduce you to the revised edition of our book Project Seminar on Professional Orientation (P-Seminar) from our Project Future series. The changed accentuation of professional and study orientation at the Bavarian Gymnasium has made a fundamental revision and restructuring necessary. The book is tailored to the new Bavarian curriculum PLUS in class 11. It is suitable for working in other federal states thanks to the basic competences: professional orientation section. In addition, the book can be used for professional and study orientation in grades 12 and 13. This means that the P-seminar comprehensively meets the required bridge function and supports the students in deepening their career finding competence sustainably.
As a teacher, the book relieves you when planning, conducting and following up a P-seminar. The students can thus optimally continue their individual process of professional orientation. To make the P-seminar a success, numerous opportunities are offered for students to acquire the relevant (partial) competences and to strengthen them in specially developed trainings:
- Practical and tailor-made exercises for all required (partial) competences in the curriculum PLUS
- Numerous suggestions for digital work and portfolio work.
- Visible interlocking of project work and professional and study orientation.
- Seamless insertion into our overall concept for professional and study orientation at the gymnasium (series project future).
