For work in your seminar courses, we would like to introduce you to the updated edition of the P seminar. Numerous basic innovations have made a revision necessary.
- As part of the study and career orientation, students are presented with the most important information about the now prevailing bachelor and master degree programmes.
- For the first time, reference is made to the new dialogue-oriented service procedure (DoSV), which will regulate admission to restricted study programmes in the future.
- The different forms of training and possibilities of dual study are discussed in detail.
- After the suspension of general conscription and the elimination of civil service, other forms and recognized services for bridging between school and work are discussed in detail.
The P-seminar strengthens and supports the students on the way of their career finding and thus forms a bridge between school and working world. It is designed to give students practical experiences and thus prepare them for a responsible choice of study and career. The projects are not subject bound and allow first contacts and experience with the requirements of the professional world. The focus is on the acquisition of the self-and social skills required for the choice of profession. Special exercises serve an additional deepening and reflection of the decision-making factors dealt with.
