A SMALL TREASURE FOR ADMIRERS OF JOHN LENNON. This 1980 pocketbook-sized paperback was quickly released following the passing of John Lennon. The book reprints the 1967 Signet original publication of John Lennon's two volumes of short prose pieces, poems, and drawings: IN HIS OWN WRITE and A SPANIARD IN THE WORKS. Pages are unmarked and well bound. Cover shows shelf-rubbing, creasing and a tiny scrape, but remains intact. A good, sturdy copy of an uncommon volume.

Review
"Very funny... beautifully designed." (Times Literary Supplement)
"Fascinating.... It goes down like pure whimsy and then back-kicks like a sick mule." (Sunday Times)
"Irresistable...the drawings are marvellous." (Sunday Telegraph)
"Very inventive... It's all in Lennon's favour that despite the adulation and soft soap, he has remained as tough, arrogant and uncompromising." (Observer)
